Governor | Vicar Tim Stevens
As both the vicar of Darton with Staincross and Mapplewell and as a parent of two young children, I have a very keen interest in education in Barnsley, and want to be able to support our young people in achieving all that they are able. I have previous experience of school governance in both primary and secondary schools, including having been a governor of Trinity Cathedral Academy, as a result of which I hold the Trinity Multi Academy Trust in very high regard. Prior to my ordination in 2016 I have worked in the business sector with responsibility for delivering projects to time and budget, and have experience of balancing the needs of stakeholders in major projects. Now as a vicar, I believe in offering the best opportunities we can to our community, and I have every confidence that Trinity St Edwards will bring an opportunity to the young people in the community of Barnsley which will enable them to grow in a loving environment where they are challenged to be the best they can, and I look forward to being a part of this exciting future.
